Verdex Capital is excited to announce the Carrot Ventures Food & AgTech Innovation Challenge, delivered in collaboration with the XPRIZE Canada Hub.

Agriculture and food systems are facing growing pressure to produce more, use resources more efficiently, and adapt to rapidly changing conditions. At the same time, many promising technologies struggle to reach commercialization and industry adoption.

Participants will compete for a $150,000 challenge prize, with selected opportunities also eligible for consideration of up to $1.5 million in follow-on investment.

Beyond the competition, participants will gain exposure to investors, customers, industry leaders, and commercialization partners, with visibility through the XPRIZE Canada Hub and broader XPRIZE network.
